In the last 10 games, Russell Westbrook has been the catalyst to the Houston Rockets’ success since the departure of the Houston Rockets former starting center, Clint Capela.

The Houston Rockets have a 8-2 record in the last ten games, and currently have a 6 game win streak, mostly due to the fact of Russell Westbrook’s success on the court. Russell Westbrook has played 7 games out of the last 10 and has averaged 35 points per game, 5.8 assists per game, and 7.4 rebounds per game.

The Rockets have had a successful month after a rough January since they traded Capela. The Rockets guard, James Harden and Russell Westbrook have been playing exceptionally well and have led their team to be the 4th seed in the west. James Harden has been averaging 30 ppg, 5.8 rebounds, and 7.3 assists since Feb.6.

With more than half of the season already over, The Rockets are set to go against the Utah Jazz in the playoffs since the Rockets are in the 4th seed and the Jazz the 5th seed. The Rockets have been competing with the small ball technique, but there are certainly some flaws to it. The small ball technique has been somewhat working so far for the Rockets, but we will see how it performs in the postseason.
