The Glades Central football team, The Raiders, must forfeit 3 games because they used an ineligible player.

Glades Central reported to the state that they were using a player who didn’t meet the 2.0 GPA requirement needed to play football. As a result, they must forfeit 3 of their games and face a fine. The Raiders were 4-4 , but are now 1-7 as a result of the forfeits.

The one game that wasn’t forfeited was their game against Wellington. The team claims the player didn’t play against us. Had that game been forfeited and the Wolverines won the game against Seminole Ridge, Wellington could have had a chance at the playoffs.
