2019 PBPF HS Poetry Contest

The 2019 Palm Beach Poetry Festival High School Poetry Contest is back for its 15th annual competition. Submissions of student poetry are being accepted up until midnight of December 14th.

Enter with the chance to will $200 and tickets to an event of your choice for first place. Runners-up will receive $100 and tickets to watch a performance from Pulitzer Prize-winning poet, Tyehimba Jess. All winners will get the chance to get recognition and have his or her work published.

Poems may be submitted via email to the Palm Beach Poetry Festival High School Poetry Contest Judges October 1st through midnight December 14th, 2018. Submit one poem, 30 lines maximum, single-spaced, 12-point font in the body of the email, not as an attachment. Your name, address, phone number, email address, name of high school, teacher’s name, and your grade level must be included at the top of the page.
