In January, Mrs. Matella’s Family Home and Consumer Technology class, Ashlee Bowser and Abigail Hoover (members of FCCLA), came together to construct storybooks for babies in the NICU. Our main goal was to create a sentimental bonding experience between a newborn and their parent’s, our class put much thought and care into making these books. Once the class finished we donated the books to St. Mary’s hospital.  Our project will be presented at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference in the category of Chapter Service Project.
