On Monday, January 19th FCCLA (Family Community Career Leaders of America) members- Lauren Thomas and Rebecca Millington organized items that were donated from the Wellington High School community. They hung up flyers around the school advertising the list of needed donations. These items were donated to the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County. They also arranged an announcement to be read on the morning announcements. They received various items such as household items, electronics, and clothing from students and staff at Wellington and the greater community.  On February 8th they brought the donations to the shelter. All the donations together filled up the trunks of a large truck and an SUV. Theses donations were greatly appreciated due to the low quantity of items at the shelter after the busy holiday.
