50-year-old homeless man Scottie Lee Martin is facing an attempted murder charge after he stabbed a man outside of a store on November 22.

The stabbing happened in front of a strip mall south of downtown Lake Worth Beach around 5:30 PM.

The victim is a 41-year-old man that Martin has known for 6 months prior to the stabbing. The two men got into an argument when Martin pulled out a 5-inch knife and stabbed the victim.

The victim was found lying on the floor in a pool of blood on the 400 block of South Dixie Highway around 6 PM. He was taken to the St Mary Medical Center in West Palm Beach and is now in good condition.

Martin is being held at Palm Beach County jail without bail. PBSO says Martin has been arrested 10 times in the past 4 years.

On November 6, Martin was arrested for robbery when he pushed someone out of a wheelchair and stole their wallet.
