Palm Beach Central gets extra police after online threat

On Monday, a student from Palm Beach Central High School posted a threatening video online. Principal Darren Edgecomb said that the post wasn’t threatening the school directly, but PBC received extra police just in case.

Several students found the video on Snapchat on Sunday and reported it through the FortifyFL app. Police are still trying to identify who posted the video.

Days before the PBC threat, another Palm Beach County student was arrested for bringing a loaded gun to school on Friday. That arrest was made just days after a teen was taken into custody for threatening to “blow up” Roosevelt Elementary School and Bak Middle School with a picture of a video game gun he posted on Snapchat.
