The Gateway Foundation released designs for a hotel in space, called the Von Braun Station, using modern technology, and is planned to be up and running by 2025, according to the company.

Gateway Foundation

The design of the hotel looks like a big ring, connected to the center which looks like the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars. The hotel is planned to accommodate 400 guests, it will have a bar, a cinema, educational seminars, and even artificial gravity.

Building a hotel in space would seem nearly impossible, but with today’s technology, it isn’t as challenging. The Gateway Foundation have a machine called the GSAL to create large blocks and segments to create the exterior of the hotel. As soon as the exterior of the hotel is built, they will send in workers to build the interior of it. By 2025, the Von Braun Station should be up in space, and by 2027, it should be fully operational.

All this technology isn’t for free, and the government won’t pay for the hotel, so how will The Gateway Foundation pay for it?

Gateway Foundation

The Gateway Foundation are using a method involving the lotto. In the past year, 70 billion dollars were generated just in the U.S. They are going to use people who win the lotto, who also believe in space exploration to pay for the hotel.

People who believe in space exploration should join or support The Gateway Foundation, because putting a hotel up in space is a very challenging task to accomplish. People with a passion, should help and make all these plans possible.
