Multiple high schools in Palm Beach County received phone calls with threats of a bomb on Thursday, August 15.

These schools included Cardinal Newman High School, Forest Hill High School, Dreyfoos School Of The Arts, Worthington High School, and Palm Beach Lakes High School. The administration at each school followed county lockdown procedures, locking down each campus for approximately forty-five minutes. No teachers, staff, or students were hurt or endangered.

The FBI is investigating these threats but does not currently consider them credible.

Similar threats were made at schools in Broward and Miami-Dade County. Even in businesses and other schools around the U.S. and Canada got similar threats.

Anyone with information about these phone calls is urged to call the West Palm Beach Police Department or use the new suspicious activity reporting app, FortifyFL.
