The books children across the globe read, the movies that those same children fell in love with. Harry Potter, a never ending phenomenon for those in the wizarding world. Luckily for Florida “Potter” fans, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located right in Islands of Adventure for those to experience the magic they never thought they’d be able to enjoy. The park that opened in 2010 is now expanding its gates and adding more things for wizards to love and enjoy.

“I’m really excited just go and see it because I’ve read all the books and have always imagined how it would like in my head and soon I’ll actually be walking through it and really living it,” Andrea Richter, junior, said.

Guests to the park will not only be coming to the wizarding world but have the chance to travel between “London” and Hogsmeade on the Hogwarts Express. It is rumored that guests will be able to travel on the Hogwarts Express from Universal Studios to Islands of Adventure through the train. It is confirmed that the Leaky Cauldron, Diagon Alley, and King’s Cross Station and the Hogwarts Express will be added to the park.

“I’m excited for the new ride and the park is going to be way more in depth now,” Emily Offenkrantz, junior, said.

The new expansion for the park will include Diagon Alley, the shopping area that is located in London. A new coaster, reported to be named “Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts”, is located inside of Gringotts Bank, the bank run by goblins where wizards keep their belongings and money. The ride is modeling off of the seventh book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows where Harry and his friends have to escape Gringotts on the back of a dragon.

The expansion is said to be finished in the summer of 2014 to add to wizards and witches desires in Orlando, Florida.
