One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish…. One of our newest clubs on theWellingtonHigh Schoolcampus is FCCLA; Family Career and Community Leaders of America.  This organization is a service organization associated with Family and Consumer Science Education. Their first Community Service Project was to organize a school-wide gently used book drive for two area Elementary Schools. We are proud to announce thatWellingtonHigh Schoolwas able to collect over 600 books. They collaborated with the English Department to have drop off locations in every English classroom along with the Fashion Class.

After collection they sorted the books by reading level and then the books were brought to Wellington Elementary and New Horizons Elementary. We would like to thank all English Classes, Reading classes who contributed and students for their generous donations. Our donation assured that many students at the respective elementary schools will continue to enjoy the love of reading and have books to take home.
