Join Wellington High School Saturday, February 1 to celebrate National Freedom Day at the “Wellington Art Festival” at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center.

Gates open at 6 PM and it’s free admission and free parking. Shuttle buses will be giving free rides from 13500 Southshore Blvd. to the festival grounds at 3400 Equestrian Club Drive. Parking is also available on the festival grounds.

The festival will feature a carousel, on-site dining options, family fun activities, a petting zoo, and an art display from all 12 Wellington public schools. To keep with the theme of “National Freedom Day,” Students from area schools have submitted pieces of art that demonstrate what freedom means to them.

This year’s theme for the Great Charity Challenge is ‘Broadway Musicals.’ Riders and their horses will be dressed as characters of famous musicals such as Les Misérables, Hamilton, and more.

The festival is part of the Great Charity Challenge, where various charities will compete for a share of the $1 million in prize money provided by the Wellington Art Society.
