As of October 21st, Sony has officially announced the upcoming next- gen PS5. The PS5 has many new updates that will replace the PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro.

The PS5 has everyone talking, although there is still some time until its release in stores. Though the launch date and cost have not yet been made public, Sony has announced that it has shifted development to new games that will be available on launch day. Also, there will be a DualShock Controller that will be shipped with the console.

The PS5 is said to have 3D sound which is better than the PS4, higher resolution, and it will also have a 4K Blu Ray player for physical discs. There will be a SSD which will load games faster, and download certain parts of the games.

The DualShock controller is rumored to have a microphone and support haptic feedback. When doing the demonstration they showed how the controller could feel the difference between each landscape during gameplay.

The price of the PS5 is yet to be announced, but Sony confirmed the release date is scheduled for sometime before the 2020 holiday season.
