The trailer for “Sonic the Hedgehog” released on April 30th caused an uproar with fans who were not pleased with the looks of the main character. Director Jeff Fowler has since reacted to fans, stating the character would be redesigned before the movie is released.

Days after the trailer was released, Fowler tweeted, “Thank you for the support. And the criticism. The message is loud and clear… you aren’t happy with the design & you want changes. It’s going to happen. Everyone at Paramount & Sega are fully committed to making this character the BEST he can be…#sonicmovie #gottafixfast.”
