Artwork from WHS students is on display in the Expo Center at the 2019 South Florida Fair, including a winning piece by artist Madelyn Grimes. 

Wellington High School’s advanced art students have submitted to the works for this year’s theme, “Where Heroes Unite!” to be featured in the exposition. Students submitted work depicting WHS teachers as superheroes. Madelyn Grimes won 3rd Place in the for her piece featuring fashion teacher, Mr. Gliptis as a hero.

Student pieces are featured in the main expo building.

The fair runs from January 18th to February 3rd. For more information on dates and tickets, check out the South Florida Fair website.
